Sitting in rocking chairs in JAX sipping a starbucks...Yes, rockers for "Rockers". We r listening to a steel drum playing 'I Can't Help Falling in Love with You'. The surreal experience continues even off the boat.
Last show was a blast. The fans are special...we sing it for them!

We had a great show last night...Standing ovation...loyal fans...signing lots of autographs. We r in Nassau for the day. Tonight we tell stories of what it was like to record with Elvis. For someone who practices living in the present (me) this is a surreal experience and not easy. Hope my memory gets stimulated!

We are getting ready to board our first Elvis Cruise! We've met lots of fans who have been loyal followers and are veterans of the cruises. It promises to be a fun trip!

Arrived in Jacksonville

I am sitting in the Hyatt Regency in Jacksonville, Fl.. Tomorrow Mary and I will be singing with 'The Memphis Boys' on the Elvis Cruise. Everywhere I look there are Elvis fans in all their bling. I just heard from some wonderful friend/musicians in Norway..., they are playing a concert there with the TCB band. All I can say is, just as in the words of the John Haitt song...'We Are Riding with the King' !

Leaving Leavenworth , Wa for Elvis Cruise

I remember being five years old and holding my Mom's hand while we stood in a long line waiting to go into the theater to see Elvis's first movie, 'Love Me Tender'. Twelve years later I sang back up on "Suspicious Minds" which was a number one hit for Elvis in 1969. Now, 43 years later I'm on my way to sing on The Elvis Cruise. Looking forward to singing with my sister Mary and all the other musicians who we're on the classic 'Elvis in Memphis' album.

Happy Birthday Elvis

Hi y'all,   Today is Elvis's birthday.  I think back to being a 1969 senior in high school in Pell City, Alabama and remember a phone call from my sister Mary that literally changed my life.  The next day I'm flying on my first airplane (prop) to American Sound Studio in Memphis Tn. to substitute as a back up singer on what is known as the Elvis Presley comeback album, 'Elvis in Memphis'.  The number one hits from that album,'Suspicious Minds' and In the Ghetto was the beginning of 'The Holladay Sisters'.  Happy Birthday Elvis and thank ya verra much for the BIG break big sis!
